I was right in the middle of the most unhappiest time in my life; my son was diagnosis with autism, my marriage was suffering, I was depressed, and blamed everyone for everything going wrong.

 

It was during this time of brokenness that I sought to strengthen my spiritual walk with God, by seeking godly counsel as a way to heal my pain and help me to uncover who I really was and my full potential.

 

After years of playing the blame game and not taking accountability for the wrongs I have made, I wanted change. So, I prayed and asked the LORD to reveal to me... ME! 

 

In order to start healing, I had to acknowledge who I was and take accountability for my wrongs, and it had to start with me conquering my mind and transforming my way of thinking. I had some serious work to do... So to begin doing the work, I had to do some serious soul searching and self-evaluating. This was one of the hardest and most exhilarating things I ever had to do; however I knew in the end, the reward would be greater than the sacrifice!

 

I was committed to doing the work, no matter how hard it was, and overtime, I started to witnesses a different ME emerging. A more confident, stronger, and wiser woman was emerging like a phoenix from the ashes of who I was, to the woman I was meant to be. As I was falling in love with who I was becoming, I was in awe of the profound healing taking place within. I was becoming a woman unafraid to walk into her purpose, acknowledge her mistakes, and realize her weaknesses. Doing the work allowed me to give birth to my purpose and rise to my destiny.

 

I learned to say no and set boundaries! I started thinking of me and paying closer attention to my needs, all while discovering a bigger and better version of myself. The profound work I was doing on myself spilled into every aspect of my life, including my spiritual walk, my marriage, my children, my relationships, and my businesses!

 

After successfully conquering my mind, I began to conquer the world! "Some" of my credentials and accomplishments are as follows: 

 

• Founder and CEO of Trusted Parents, a nonprofit organization that support and serve parents of children with special healthcare needs.  www.trustedparents.org

• Owner and Director of Camps at Trusted Parents, a summer camp program for children with and without special needs. www.campsattp.org

• Co-Founder and CEO of Bye Enterprise, LLC

• Obtained Degrees in both Religious Studies and Psychology. 

• Graduate of NC Partner in Policymaking program. 

• Owner & Creator of Sistah to Sistah, a women empowerment social media program. 

• Executive Chair and Affiliating Director of Family Support Network of NC.
